Tiger

I did this tiger in about 35 minutes one day.  Sometimes the pieces you don't think about can be favorites.  This tiger now lives in Anaheim with my friend, Wanda.

Italian vista

This is a copy of a painting I saw and knew I just had to have it...so I copied it.  The colors are wonderful.

Seascape

Originally, this piece had a large rock in the center. I have removed the rock and find I like this version.

Acylic landscape

This was to be an acrylic underpainting for a pastel piece. However, I really liked this and decided to stop and call it finished.

Humphrey

After this piece was completed (in art class years ago) I just knew his name should be Humphrey. He is a good dog.
Media: white charcoal and graphite

Sundown in the country

This is another painting that drew my attention. I have lots to learn about landscapes, so I copied this lovely scene using pastels

Lily

Lily doesn't really have pink and blue in hair, but she does have the white blaze on her chest. The look on her face is fairly accurate also.

Man and Dogs

This is pencel drawing. I Had to photograph it through glass so there are problems with it. I liked the dogs, so I decided to show it dispite flaws

Seal Pup

This was an art class project. I rather like him(her?) Another pastel "portrait"

"Sorrow"

This pastel portrait is one of my favorites; I like the play of the light upon her hair and hands.

These children are wearing traditional Chinese garb especially for this portrait. The little girl came to America about 4 years ago; then 2 years later, she was joined by a new brother.

Blackberries by Lynn Bowdoin

This is a colored pencil drawing of blackberry flowers. Isn't it lovely?

This is "Glee." She now lives with a friend of mine who said she could not live without her.
